Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondents to register the case on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 23.10.2021 and proceed with the investigation in accordance with law.

O R D E R
This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register the case on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 23.10.2021 and proceed with the investigation in accordance with law.
2.The Petitioner had lodged a complaint on 23.10.2021 for cheating of Rs.41,92,000/- by one M.P.M. Finance Company, which is run by one M.Magesh. The petitioner's property documents were also retained by them. This complaint was enquired and verified initially by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Pallavaram range, who in turn on 23.10.2021, had directed the Inspector of Police, S-6, Pammal Police Station to enquire and take appropriate action. Thereafter, no action has been taken. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that, in this case, summons were served to petitioner as well as the counter complainant on 27.10.2021. Both of them had appeared on 30.10.2021 and agreed to produce the documents and proof of payments made, Thereafter, they have not returned. 4.
Considering the submissions and on perusal of the materials, this Court directs the Inspector of Police, S-6, Pammal Police Station to continue the investigation and complete the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law. This excise is to be completed, within a period a two weeks, from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. 5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
