The prayer sought for in the present writ petition is to call for records relating to the first respondent's Government order made in G.O.No.793 Co-operation Food and Consumer Protection (C.E.-1) Department dated 21.11.2008 and quash the same.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the writ petition has become infructuous and prayed this Court to dismiss the Writ Petition. He also made an endorsement to the following effect:

"The writ petition No.28420/08 has become infructuous and hence may be dismissed as having become infructuous."
