By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. In view of the order that this Court proposes to pass and also the limited relief that is sought to be granted, notice to the 7th respondent is dispensed with.

The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 6 to consider the representation dated 11.06.2025 of the petitioner, seeking for removal of 7th respondent's name and all unauthorized encroachments over the property bearing Patta No.362, comprised in S.F.No.390/2C and New S.F.No.614/7, situated at Thudiyalur Village, Coimbatore District.

It is submitted by the petitioner that she submitted a representation dated 11.06.2025 to the respondents 1 to 6 for removal of unauthorized names of the persons from the property bearing Patta No.362, comprised in S.F.No.390/2C and New S.F.No.614/7, situated at Thudiyalur Village, Coimbatore District. However, till date petitioner's representation was not considered by the respondents 1 to 6. Hence, this writ petition.

At the outset, it is submitted by Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 5 that the above representation submitted by the petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

5. It is further submitted by the learned Special Government Pleader that in case police protection is required, a request would be made to the 6th respondent. When this was pointed out, the learned Government Advocate, Mr.R.Kishore Kumar appearing for the 6th respondent would submit that if any such request is made, adequate police protection will be granted.

In view of the limited relief that is prayed, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition and accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with following directions:- i) The respondents 1 to 5 shall consider the representation in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner, 7th respondent and all other interested parties including rival claimants, if any.
ii) Though facts have been set out extensively in the affidavit, this Court does not propose to deal with it while leaving it open to the respondents 1 to 5 to call for any document/conduct enquiry to satisfy itself of the petitioner's entitlement for requesting removal of 7th respondent's name in Patta No.362 and removal of all unauthorized encroachments over the subject property. iii) The entire process shall be completed within a period of 8 weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy. 4/7
iv) It is open to the respondents 1 to 5 to request for police protection before the 6th respondent. If any such request is made, the 6th respondent is directed to provide adequate police protection for removing all unauthorized encroachments over the subject property.
v) It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the matter and it is open to the concerned official respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. Rights and contentions of the petitioner and all other interested parties are left open.
