O R D E R

This Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2026 seeking for police protection to the petitioner and her property.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and perused the entire documents placed on record.

3. It is to be noted that there is a civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the 3rd respondent in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.156/5 to an extent of 0.48 cents situated at Kanthur Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District. In fact, already the petitioner approached this Court by way of Writ Petition No.5395 of 2026 to cancel the patta issued in favour of the 3rd respondent in respect of the above mentioned property and this Court by an order dated 19.02.2026 in W.P.No.5395 of 2026 directed the Divisional Revenue Officer, Kanchipuram to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law. Thereafter, the Tahsildar, Sriperumbudur Taluk has also recommended to the Regional Divisional Officer, Sriperumbudur Division to cancel the patta issued in favour of the 3rd

respondent, while being so, the petitioner has come up with the present petition seeking police protection.

4. In view of the above said discussions, the petitioner ought to have approached the civil court as against the 3rd respondent in order to protect her property, therefore, the police protection sought for in this petition cannot be granted to the petitioner to enjoy the property.
