By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner was granted license to run a canteen within the campus of Villupuram Government Medical College and Hospital, vide proceedings dated 01.10.2015 and the agreement of lease was also entered on 08.10.2015. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that all of a sudden, the first respondent ordered to close down the canteen with all materials lying inside and in this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 13.07.2016 to the second

respondent praying for appropriate direction to run the canteen and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this Writ Petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.S.Rajaram, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf the first respondent and Mrs.T.P.Savitha, learned counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the second respondent and they would submit that since the period of lease/license got expired, the petitioner was asked not to run the business.

4. This Court has considered the rival submissions and also perused the typed set of documents.

5. Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2016 in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

6. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
