This case is listed today under the caption for being mentioned at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it may be clarified that the period which the petitioner needs to serve in terms of the bond will be only from 29.03.2023 or the date on which he joined. This implies that the total term will be less than two years, in accordance with the ratio in State of Tamil Nadu vs. P.S.Sairam and others, [(2020) SC OnLine Mad 2742 : (2020) 7 Mad LJ 513] He also submitted that upon completion, a certificate may also be directed to be given, as it may likely lead to another round of litigation. 3.Heard Mr.C.Kathiravan, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 6.

4.In view of the above, this Court modifies the following Paragraph 4 of the order of this Court dated 09.08.2023 as below :
"4.This Court is in absolute concurrence with the finding of the learned Single Judge of this Court in Dr.Jayakrishnan M.P. and others vs. The State of Tamil Nadu and others in W.P.No.26556 of 2022, dated 02.02.2023, and hence directs the respondents to give credit for the entire period during which he has served during Covid days and adjust the same within the bond period of two years. To expatiate it, the petitioner completed the course in September 2022 but was given orders of appointment only on 29.03.2023. This period between September 2022 and 29.03.2023, as well as his service during the Covid days, should be given credit. If there are any more days left to be served, the petitioner is required to serve only for those days and no more. Upon completion of the service, as indicated above, the respondents 4 to 6 are required to return the entire original certificates of the 2/4
petitioner within the period of three (3) weeks immediately after the completion of his service as detailed above." 5.The Registry is now required to make necessary correction in the order of this Court dated 09.08.2023, and issue a fresh order copy to the petitioner free of charges.
