ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order of suspension passed by the first respondent in Proc.No.195/PRTC/AE/KKL/2023/396, Puducherry dated 23.06.2023 and quash the same.

2. It is the grievance of the writ petitioner that he has been placed under suspension for the alleged offence of rice bags being carried as luggage in the bus driven by him. According to the petitioner, though the first respondent has issued guidelines regarding luggage being carried on by the passenger, it is the duty of the Conductor to see that rice bags are not allowed by the passenger, whereas, the petitioner is a driver and he is placed under suspension and no action has been taken.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

4. Considering the gravity of the charges, order of revisiting the suspension has to be passed. Since, the very allegations appears to be trivial in nature, there shall be a direction to the respondents for revisiting the suspension of the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
