This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to restore the electricity connection of the petitioner in Consumer No.094330042811, within a time fixed by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner purchased the land in Plot No.8, Sri Sabari Ayyappan Nagar, Thirumullaivoyal Village, comprised in S.No.440/2A1A, Old S.No.440/2A, Avadi Taluk, Thiruvallur District, from Raja and others and he started the construction and applied for electricity connection. The second respondent also gave the electricity connection in Consumer No.094330042811 and fixed the meter for construction of the property. However, on 08.02.2022, the second respondent disconnected the electricity connection and removed the meter stating that the litigation is pending. Therefore, the petitioner made several

representations to the respondents to restore the electricity service connection, however, the same have not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if this Court permits the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the respondents and on receipt of the same, the respondents may be directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents has no serious objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, permits the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the respondents and on receipt of the same, the respondents are directed to consider the

representation made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
