O R D E R

This writ petition is filed to direct the respondent to consider the representation submitted by the 1st petitioner on 20.06.2024, within a specified time frame.

2. The first petitioner trust is a registered trust which is dedicated to charitable and religious activities. Initially, the trust was operating from a rental premises, later the 2nd petitioner purchased the adjacent lands for the development of the trust. The 2nd petitioner obtained planning approval for construction of a commercial building and constructed the same for avowed object of the trust. However, no commercial activities were conducted in the said premises and so the petitioner's decided to convert the said commercial building into the "Multi Mini function hall, prayer hall and conference hall". The petitioner hence submitted a representation on 20.06.2024, to the first respondent for conversion of the commercial building, but no action was 2/5

taken on the petitioner's representation. Hence, the petitioner filed the present writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record. With consent of both counsels, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

4. Under the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the first respondent, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.06.2024, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 22.07.2025 Speaking order / Non-speaking order Index : Yes / No : Yes / No tsh 3/5
