PRAYER Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to remove the entry of Government Poromboke in Old Survey No.149/2 and New Survey No.514/12, in Door No.141/1 at Pillaiyar Koil Street, Sentharapatti Village, Gangavalli Taluk and include petitioner name in 'A' Register and consequently issue a patta to extent of 1255 1/2 Sq.ft.

ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a mandamus to direct the respondents to remove the entry of "Government Poromboke" in Old Survey No.149/2 and New Survey No.514/12, located at Door No.141/1 at Pillaiyar Koil Street, Sentharapatti Village, Gangavalli Taluk and include petitioner's
name in 'A' Register and consequently issue a patta to extent of 1255 1⁄2 Sq.ft in favour of the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner th respondent, had submitted a representation on 27.03.2025 before the 4 requesting for correction of entry as "Government Poromboke" in the subject property, and include petitioner's name in the 'A' Register and issue patta in the name of petitioner in respect of subject property. Petitioner had also enclosed relevant documents with the representation. However, the said representation was not considered so far by the respondents. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come before this Court.

At the outset, it is submitted by the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents that the representation dated 27.03.2025 made by petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed within a time frame fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by learned counsel
for petitioner.

In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, th respondent, to consider the representation there shall be a direction to the 4 dated 27.03.2025, made by the petitioner on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested parties/rival claimants, if any within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
