O R D E R
The ground on which the petitioner seeks for further investigation in Crime No.1239 of 2012 filed by the second respondent herein is that though the First Information Report was registered on 21.09.2012, there was not much progress in the investigation.
2. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that though the petitioner had furnished further details in the complaint, the same have not been considered in right perspective.
3. Today, when the matter is called up for hearing the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the investigation in Crime No.1239 of 2012 has been transferred from the file of the second respondent herein to the Central Crime Branch, Chennai and that the Central Crime Branch shall conduct a fair and proper investigation expeditiously. The Central Crime Branch has already been suo motu impleaded as a party/respondent in this proceedings. Since the petitioner is not satisfied with the investigation conducted by the second respondent herein, as the investigation had been transferred to Central Crime Branch, the petitioner had no grievance.
4. In the light of the above observation made, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed. The third respondent / Central Crime Branch shall complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
