ORDER

It is seen that one Krishnaveni was allotted Flat No.I in H-Block opposite to I-Block at Ramakrishnapuram, T.Nagar and that her daughter Megala and grand son Vincent have blocked the stretch of the road between I and H Blocks by putting up a hut and residing there. It is further seen that earlier the petitioner filed a writ petition in W.P.No.37468 of 2016 before this court for a direction to the authorities concerned to remove the encroachment and the Hon'ble First Bench of this Court appears to have passed some orders in his favour.

2. Be that as it may, it is the contention of the petitioner that he is being threatened by Krishnaveni, Megala and others for having filed the writ petition. It is seen that earlier the petitioner had made a complaint dated 01.09.2016 before respondent police against Manikandan and Vincent upon which a petition inquiry was conducted in C.S.R.No.620 of 2016 and the same has been closed on 03.09.2016. Once again, the petitioner has sent a complaint by registered post to the respondent police seeking police protection. If there is any imminent threat to the petitioner, it is open to the petitioner to go in person and make a complaint and on such complaint being given, the same shall be inquired into and action be taken in accordance with law to give police protection.

3. With the above directions the criminal original petition is closed.
