Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to survey the petitioner's land bearing survey No.251/3B2B for an extent of 0.34.41 ares, situated in Ezhuthur Village, Thittagudi taluk, Cuddalore District by considering the online application of the petitioner dated 10.07.2024 and 04.12.2024 in accordance with law. 1/4

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents to survey the petitioner's land bearing survey No.251/3B2B for an extent of 0.34.41 ares, situated in Ezhuthur Village, Thittagudi taluk, Cuddalore District by considering the online applications of the petitioner dated 10.07.2024 and 04.12.2024 in accordance with law.

2. It is seen that the petitioner owns the land bearing survey No.251/3B2B for an extent of 0.34.41 ares, situated in Ezhuthur Village, Thittagudi taluk, Cuddalore District. In order to survey the said land, the petitioner submitted online application before the respondents. So far the respondents did not take any step to survey and demarcate the aforementioned land belongs to the petitioner. Hence, this writ petition.

3. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to survey the petitioner's aforesaid land based on the title deed produced by him, after 2/4

issuance of notice to the adjacent land owners and counter parties, if any, and to serve the survey report to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear that, if the surveyor concerned is obstructed by third parties while surveying the subject land, the said surveyor can approach the jurisdictional police seeking police aid and on such request, the jurisdictional police shall provide adequate police protection to the surveyor.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
