ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed to direct the 1 st respondent to consider and dispose the petitioner's representation dated 22.05.2025 and consequently promote the petitioner as Special Sub-Inspector of police (SSI) from the year 2014.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that they filed a petition before the 1 st respondent under Section 3(b) of TNPSS (D&A) Rules, 1955. The petitioner gave a representation on 22.05.2025 to the 1 st respondent and the same is yet to be considered by them.

3. At this juncture, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents would consider the petitioner's representation in accordance with law.

4. In view of the above submission, without going into the merits of the

case, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the 1 st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.05.2025 and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
