ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 14.06.2023 and pay his subsistence allowance within a stipulated period. Page No.1 of 4

2.The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner's father died while he was in service in the respondents Corporation, therefore, the petitioner was appointed as Line Inspector on 21.06.2021 on compassionate ground as per the proceedings of the 1st respondent. Due to filing of a criminal case against the petitioner, suspension order was passed by the 1st respondent on 08.02.2023 and departmental enquiry has been initiated against the petitioner. Now, the grievance of the Writ Petitioner is that the petitioner is under prolonged suspension, till date the departmental enquiry has not been completed and no subsistence allowance has been paid to the petitioner. In this regard, a representation was given by the petitioner on 14.06.2023, however, the same has not been considered. Hence, he seeks direction of this Court.

3.Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be considered and orders will be passed on merits within short period.

4.Considering the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation Page No.2 of 4

of the petitioner, dated 14.06.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
