ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to act upon the petitioner's complaint dated 28.04.2025 in a time bound manner.

2. Dr.C.E.Pratap, learned Government Advocate ( Crl.Side) takes notice for the respondents.

3. On a perusal of the records, it is seen that the writ petitioner has sent a complaint to the respondents on 28.4.2025 and no notice /summon has been sent by the respondent police to the petitioner as on date. The respondents -Police have also admitted that they have not sent notice to the petitioner so far.

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondents-Police to act upon the petitioner's complaint dated 28.4.2025 and conduct preliminary enquiry/investigation as the case may be and conclude the proceedings within a reasonable time.
