Despite service of notice, the respondent has neither chosen to appear in person nor through counsel. Therefore, I have proceeded to hear the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. The wife, who is the respondent in FCOP No.641 of 2023 pending on the file of Family Court, Erode, is the revision petitioner herein, seeking transfer of the said proceedings to Principal Sub Court, Dharapuram.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is a resident of Dharapuram and finds it inconvenient to travel all the way from Dharapuram to Erode to attend the proceedings before Family Court, Erode. Learned counsel further states that the petitioner has to take care of minor child aged 5 years as well as her aged parents.

4. I am satisfied that the petitioner has made out a good ground for transfer of case.

5. Accordingly, the petition is allowed and HMOP No.641 of 2023 is withdrawn from the file of Family Court, Erode and transferred to Sub Court, Dharapuram.

6. The Family Court, Erode is directed to transfer the entire records relating to FCOP No.621 of 2023 to Sub Court, Dharapuram forthwith. 2/4
