..Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second Respondent in No.409/BCDFGISSSV/2019, dated 15.07.2019 against the detenu, Ambeth @ Ambedkar, son of Narayanan, aged about 34 years, who is now confined at Central Prison, Cuddalore and direct the Respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court as made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Petitioner has come up with this Petition challenging the impugned order of detention passed by the 2nd Respondent in Memo No.409/BCDFGISSSV/2019, dated 15.07.2019, detaining her husband as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor reported that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government vide G.O.Rt.No.3572, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 23.09.2019, and he also produced a copy of the same. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
