Ragini v. The Chief Secretary
CMP No.15242 of 2025 in WA SR No.84029 of 2025 J. NISHA BANU, J.
AND M.JOTHIRAMAN, J.
This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 870 days in filing the appeal.
This court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in he affidavit filed along with the petition. When this court is about to allow the petition on payment of cost, taking into account the huge delay, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a poor person and she has been imprisoned and hence she is not able to pay costs.
The learned Additional Government Pleader has no objection to allow the petition. Considering the fact that the petitioner is a prisoner, we are not inclined to impose any costs.
Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
(J.N.B.J) (M.J.R.J) 09.07.2025 mst Note: Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and list the same for admission on 16.07.2025.
