It is the case of the petitioner that he has filed the present writ petition challenging the order passed by the 1st respondent cancelling the allotment made to the petitioner in Samathuvapuram. It is further stated that after filing of the writ petition, before it is being listed, the 4th respondent came to the allotted house and had taken possession of the same. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present amendment petition seeking to amend the prayer so as to include the further direction to respondents to hand over the possession of the house.

2. Having satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the amendment petition is allowed.

3. Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment.
