This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to post the petitioner, as Executive Officer, Grade-IV, in the office of the third respondent, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 01.02.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for both sides.
3. It is submitted by the learned counsels appearing for both sides that the issue involved in this writ petition is squarely covered by a decision of this Court, in the case of N.Kanthimathi v. The Secretary to Government, HR & CE, and two others in W.P. (MD) No.8877 of 2011, dated 17.08.2011.
4. Hence, following the said decision, the following order is passed in this writ petition:- "A mandamus is issued to the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission to release the reserve list, insofar as the petitioner is concerned, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the communication from the commission, the Commissioner of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department, Chennai, the third respondent herein, shall issue necessary appointment orders to the petitioner, immediately, subject to satisfying other requirements under the recruitment rules."
