Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the letter of the 3rd Respondent No.K.No.SaPo/Epa/PunThoNuVu.2/Koppu.Manu/A.No.47/2023 dated 27.06.2023 and to quash the same and directing the 3rd Respondent to pay compensation for Rs.10 Lakhs.

ORDER

The petitioner alleges that he suffered injury as a he came into contact with an illegally electrified fence of the respondents 4 and 5. An FIR has been filed in this regard and he has also made necessary complaint to the TANGEDCO. The TANGEDCO, third respondent Vide its proceedings dated 27.06.2023 has merely made an exculpatory statement and alleges that even TANGEDCO is not responsible as its wire and other equipments in that area was in tact. So far as the illegal electrification of the fencing of the property of the respondents 4 and 5, it merely says that no complaint has been so far received.

2.Mr.V.Venkataseshiya, learned Standing Counsel for TNEB takes notice for the respondents 1 and 3.

3.Mr.G.Amedias, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the second respondent.

4.This Court now directs the third respondent to treat even the present Writ Petition as a complaint made before him and cause an enquiry as to if there was an illegal electrification of the fence of the property of the respondents 4 and 5 and it may also take into account the FIR in Crime No.174 of 2021 dated 29.03.2021 on the file of Panruti Police Station and also the AR copy, and dispose of the same within a period of twelve
