(Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.) This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 818 days in preferring the above appeal.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent raised an objection stating that the reasons for condoning the huge delay is insufficient.

3. In view of the reasons assigned in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, particularly in paragraph No.5, this Court is inclined to condone the delay of 818 days in preferring the appeal with costs of Rs.5,000/- payable to the respondent.
