ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the summons issued by the second respondent dated 28.06.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first and second respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. A perusal of the summons dated 28.06.2024 reveals that the third respondent lodged a complaint under Section 23 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 as against the petitioner herein. On receipt of such complaint, the second respondent issued summons to the petitioner to appear for enquiry to be held on 10.07.2024. The petitioner also attended the enquiry and now, the enquiry is adjourned to 29.09.2024. Therefore, the writ petition itself has become infructuous and it is liable to be dismissed.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
