ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the third respondent to refund the admissions fee paid Rs.25,000/- by the petitioner.

The petitioner had paid a sum of Rs.25,000/- in order to join B.Tech course in the third respondent college. Due to personal reasons, the petitioner could not join B.Tech Course offered by the third respondent. Therefore, he submitted representation before the third respondent for refund of admission fee. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner filed the present Writ Petition. 3.
Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

As per the University Grant Commission guidelines with regard to refund of fee during Covid-19 pandemic, it has been decided to refund the fee on account of cancellation of admission/migrations of students up to October 31, 2022 for the academic year 2022-2023 as a special case fee collected from student should be refunded in full after deducting not more than Rs.1000/- as processing fee. 5.
In view of the above discussions, the third respondent is directed to refund a sum of Rs.25,000/- to the petitioner, which was paid by the petitioner as admission fee for the academic year 2022-2023 for B.Tech course within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
