Contempt Petition No.2339 of 2025 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.

Maya initially depute the second respondent to conduct a preliminary enquiry and on the basis of the same conduct further enquiry under Section 205 of the Panchayat Act, 1994. A mandamus need not be issued in this aspect since I am confident that the officials would discharge their duty in the manner known to law.

2. Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. " 2.

The Court had clearly expressed the view that a mandamus could not be issued and it had left it to the official to take any decision. Contempt would not lie against an order of such nature. This contempt petition is dismissed. No costs.
