ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus, seeking for a direction to the first respondent to grant permission for the petitioner to lay road in the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition based on the petitioner's representation dated 20.12.2023.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner at the outset would submit that it would be suffice if the petitioner's representation is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if such a direction is issued.

4. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

5. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents also has not raised any serious objection if the petitioner's representation is directed to be considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation seeking permission to him for laying the road in the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition based on the petitioner's representation dated dated 20.12.2023 within in a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
