Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of third respondent in his proceedings: KA No.E Mi Po/E&Pa/Kutta/Ko.Pugar/No.388/15 dated 23.11.2015 and quash the same and further direct the respondents 1 to 3 to disconnect electric service connection Nos.530 007 4 and 530 007 3, as the fourth respondent is in unlawful possession of the property belonging to the petitioner.

ORDER

The petitioner has come to this Court seeking issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus, calling for the records of the Junior Engineer (Operations and Maintenance), Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, Kuttalam, Nagapattinam District, the third respondent herein in letter No.EMi Po/E&Pa/Kutta/Ko.Pugar/No.388/15 dated 23.11.2015, to quash the same with a further direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to disconnect the electricity service connection bearing Nos.530 007 4 and 530 007 3, as the fourth respondent is in unlawful possession of the property belonging to the petitioner.

2. When the matter was taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that the prayer has become infructuous and the writ petition may be dismissed.

3. Recording his statement, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
