Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records in respect of the impugned circular issued by the 6th respondent vide his proceedings in C.No.306/SOEL/Sl/2016 dated 08.08.2016 and quash the same as illegal, unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to open the college forthwith and take immediate steps to increase the faculty strength, teaching staffs in compliance of Bar Council of India (BCI) rules and University rules and further direct them to provide proper infrastructural facilities and basic amenities such as property hostel facilities, drinking water, etc. to the Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University, School of Excellence in Law, Perungudi, Chennai. O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) On hearing the learned counsel for parties, we find that necessary actions have been taken by the University to redeem certain positions, though search for the appropriate faculty of requisite merit and number is the challenging exercise. The endeavour continues.
2.At present, we see no reason to keep the petition pending and thus, close it with liberty to revive in case of any future difficulties. No costs.
