The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.07.2023 for inclusion of Pattu Kootu road area in the list of areas coming within the jurisdiction of Syed Sadiq Mosque and Dargah Wakf.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is residing within the area coming under Syed Sadiq Mosque and Dargah Wakf. On 25.07.2023, the 2nd respondent affixed a notice in the mosque stating the list of areas coming within the jurisdiction of Syed Sadiq Mosque and Dargah Wakf. On verification, the petitioner found that Pattu Kootu road area is not included in the list prepared by the 2nd respondent. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation to the 1st respondent on 26.07.2023 for inclusion of Pattu Kootu road area in the list prepared by the 2nd respondent and the same has not been considered by the 1st respondent so far.

In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.07.2023 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
