ORDER

The petitioners, Mr.M.Lakshmanan and Mr.K.Sangili, who were appointed as N.M.R's, were terminated from service after they rendered five years of service. Therefore, seeking for reinstatement and regularisation with all attendant benefits, they filed O.A.Nos.2691 & 2692 of 2003 before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, which came on transfer to this Court subsequently and renumbered as the writ petitions.

2. When the writ petitions were taken up, Mrs.M.E.Rani Selvam, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that nothing survives in the writ petitions, since the petitioners, after their termination, were reappointed and were also given the benefit of regularisation.

3. Recording the above statement, these writ petitions are dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
