O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to quash the FIR registered in Crime No.163 of 2019 on the file of the first respondent police, as illegal.

2. Heard Mr.Nirmal Aditya, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police. None appeared on behalf of the second respondent.

3. Today when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police on instructions would submit that in respect to the petition mentioned Crime Number, i.e. Crime No.163 of 2019, the first respondent police had completed the investigation and filed a Final Report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tiruvotriyur on 30.07.2020 as 'mistake of fact'. He would further submit that in respect to filing of the Final Report, R.C.S. Notice No.9 of 2020 has already been served on the de facto complainant. The said submission is recorded.

4. In view of the same, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
