The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 10.07.2024 for the alleged offence under Sec.4(1)(aaa) r/w 4(1-A)(ii) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act in Crime No.458 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The learned Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions would submit that the petitioner has been detained as a Goonda under Sec. 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

3. Recording the submissions of the learned Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
