ORDER

This writ petition is filed challenging the order of the 1st respondent dated 31.07.2015, in and by which, the Block Development Officer, Gingee was directed to convene meeting for removal of the President and Vice President of Sirunampoondi Panchayat, under Section 205 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayat Act. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The learned Government Advocate submitted that the period of the President and Vice President had already expired and hence, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.

3. In light of the above submission of the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
