Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to advance the date of petitioner's appointment from 15.03.2010 to 18.01.2008 and to fix notional pay from 18.01.2008 and re-fix Selection Grade Pay from 18.01.2018 instead of 14.03.2020, to get equal pay with petitioner's batch mates and to pay the arrears within a time limit.

The prayer in the Writ Petition is for a Mandamus directing the respondents to advance the date of petitioner's appointment from 15.03.2010 to 18.01.2008 and to fix notional pay from 18.01.2008 and re-fix Selection Grade Pay from 18.01.2018 instead of 14.03.2020, to get equal pay with petitioner's batch mates and to pay the arrears within a time limit.

2. Mr.A.M.Ayyadurai, learned Government Advocate for the respondents submitted that the prayer sought for by the petitioner has been complied with, vide proceedings of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Superintendent of Police, Namakkal District in Rc.No.A1/16346/2020 dated 31.12.2021, which is taken on file and recorded.

3. Insofar as Pay/salary is concerned, it is open to the petitioner to seek his remedy before the competent authority by submitting a fresh representation within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the authorities concerned shall consider the same and pass orders as expeditiously as possible, within a period of four weeks thereafter.

4. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
