Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent not to give effect to the Tentative updated Seniority List issued vide proceedings No.PEC/Estt/E8/Seniority/2021/1493 dated 05.10.2021 by the third respondent without passing appropriate orders on the objection given by the petitioner on 13.10.2021 in accordance with law and pass necessary orders.

ORDER
By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner, challenging the impugned Tentative Updated Seniority list of Security Guards published by the third respondent dated 05.10.2021 for promotion to the post of Assistant Security Officer, has filed the present writ petition.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that subsequent to the issue of the aforesaid impugned seniority list, the petitioner has submitted his objection dated 13.10.2021 to the third respondent, but so far his objection has not been considered.
4. Though notice has been ordered on 10.11.2021, no counter affidavit has been filed by the respondents.
5. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the objection submitted by the petitioner dated 13.10.2021 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
