By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the respondents to implement the 14th Wage Settlement dated 24.08.2022 and to revise the salary of the petitioners and to pay the difference amount of salary from 01.09.2019 till the date of retirement and to revise all the retirement benefits of the petitioners based on the revised salary as per 14th Wage Settlement dated 24.08.2022 and to pay the amount to the petitioners along with 12% interest per annum from the date of retirement within the time frame fixed by this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners were retired employees of the Respondent-Corporation and the 1st petitioner retired from service on 30.04.2020 as Special Grade Driver and the 2nd petitioner retired from service on 30.04.2020 as Selection Grade Assistant. It is the submission of the petitioners that the respondents have paid their retirement benefits on the basis of their last drawn salary. Thereafter, claiming wage difference on the basis of 14th Wage Settlement, they have sent representations on 15.04.2025 and 06.05.2025 and such representations are yet to be considered by the 1st respondent.
5. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would fairly submit that they would consider the petitioners' representations, within a reasonable time.
6. In such view of the submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to 3/6
consider the petitioners' representations dated 15.04.2025 and 06.05.2025 and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 04.07.2025 (2/3) Index : Yes/No Speaking order /Non Speaking Order dm 4/6
