This petition is filed by the petitioner to grant a further period of six months time to complete the investigation and file the final report as per the direction given by this Court, by its order dated 03.01.2023 made in Crl.M.P.No.19763 of 2022 in Crl.O.P.No.24110 of 2021.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the petitioner submitted that this court by order dated 03.01.2023 made in Crl.M.P.No.19763 of 2022 in Crl.O.P.No.24110 of 2021 granted extension of time of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to the petitioner to complete the investigation and file final report in Cr.No.2 of 2021. He further submitted that the investigation officer concerned, during the course of investigation, in order to collect the evidence and documents, had sent letters to various Government Officials and Revenue Department regarding collection of evidence and verification of documents and only after collecting the same, she could be able to conclude the case and file final report, hence he prayed that a further period of six months is required for 1/3

completing investigation and to file final report.

3. Heard the submissions of the learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side) and perused the affidavit filed in support of this petition.

4. Considering the submissions of the learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side) and on being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit, this court is inclined to extend the time for completing investigation and to file final report Accordingly, time is granted for a further period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for completing investigation and to file final report.

5. The petition is ordered accordingly.
