This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking protection from harassment under the guise of investigating the complaint given by one Raji.

According to the petitioner, he borrowed a sum of Rs.10 lakhs from said Raji for interest of 5% per month, inspite of repaying the principal with interest, the said Raji demanded more money and tortured him. When he sought for protection from harassment at the hands of Raji, the police contrarily had entertained the complaint given by Raji on 12.07.2024 and forcing the petitioner to settle the due claiming by the said Raji.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the allegations made in the complaint are totally false, in fact the current paper registered on the complaint given by Raji on 12.07.2024, after enquiry closed on 03.08.2024, being purely a money dispute.

In view of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court is of the view that there is no necessity to issue any direction sought in this petition. Hence this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
