PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of declaration that the impugned oral termination of the petitioner on the file of the fourth respondent herein with effect from 04.06.2014 is illegal and invalid in law and never passed and consequently directing the fourth respondent herein to continue the petitioner in the post of Assistant Professor (Chemistry) in the 5th respondent College, in the light of his appointment order vide R.C.No.A1/2731/13-II, dated 02.06.2014.

When the matter was taken up for hearing on 15.09.2025, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be listed on 13.10.2025. Again, when the matter was taken up on 13.10.2025,

there was no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, the matter was directed to be listed on 03.11.2025. Even on 03.11.2025, none appeared for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be listed on 24.11.2025 under the caption 'for dismissal'. Even today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, none appeared for the petitioner either by a counsel or in person. As such, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
