Respondents Prayer : This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the letter Na.Ka.No.A/4747/2007 dated 17.07.2008 issued by the 1st respondent and quash the same and direct the first respondent to consider the application for the post of police constable. ORDER

The petitioner prays to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the letter Na.Ka.No.A/4747/2007 dated 17.07.2008 issued by the 1st respondent and quash the same and direct the first respondent to consider the application for the post of police constable.

2. Today when the matter came up for hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has no further instructions and the learned Additional Advocate General submitted a letter, wherein it is stated that the petitioner has secured only 29 marks, but the pass mark is 30. Hence, the petitioner is not qualified.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the Additional Advocate General, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
