Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition came to be numbered by transfer of O.A.No.1366 of 2003 on the file of the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal praying to call for the records pertaining to the order passed by the respondent in Na.Ka.No.3943/2000/A4, dated 13.01.2003 and set aside the same and direct the respondent to reinstate the petitioner in service with all consequential benefits.

ORDER

On a careful perusal of the impugned order passed by the respondent, it is seen that the authority has given detailed explanation for imposing the punishment of dismissal from service against the petitioner. It is also further seen that he was convicted in a criminal case for the offences under Section 4(1)(a) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act. Therefore, I do not find any reason to interfere with the well-reasoned impugned order passed by the respondent. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No Costs.
