PRAYER:
Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to fix the seniority of the petitioner in the appropriate place in the seniority list of panel for promotion to the post of Secondary Grade Headmaster as on 01.01.2008 and subsequent panel for promotion to the post of B.T.Assistant(History) as on 01.01.2013, as per G.O.Ms.No.388, Education, Science and Technology Department dated 19.06.1996 and in the light of the order passed in WP.No.12478/2008 dated 18.10.2010.

ORDER
The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the 2nd respondent to fix the seniority of the petitioner in the appropriate place in the seniority list of panel for promotion to the post of Secondary Grade Headmaster as on 01.01.2008 and subsequent panel for promotion to the post of B.T.Assistant (History) as on 01.01.2013.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner states that the Government has issued G.O.Ms.No.388 dated 19.06.1996 and limited his prayer by stating that it is suffice if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 27.09.2013 and pass orders.
3. Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 27.09.2013 and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioner is directed to enclose a copy of the Government order in this regard along with the orders passed in this writ petition.
