PRAYER: This Contempt Petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of the Courts Act, 1971, praying to punish the respondents for their willful disobedience of the order made in W.P.No.2517 of 2021, dated 17.08.2021.

O R D E R
This Court, by an order dated 17.08.2021 in W.P.No.2517 of 2024, passed appropriate directions.
2. Pursuant to the same, the present petition has been filed after a pre-contempt notice was issued to the respondents for non-compliance with the order passed by this Court.
3. Today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, pursuant to the order passed by this Court, an F.I.R. has been registered against respondents 5, 6, and 7 in Crime No.139 of 2025 in the writ petition. He further submitted that all three persons have filed anticipatory bail applications in Crl.M.P.No.6181 of 2025 before the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai. The petitioner has also filed an intervening petition in Crl.M.P.No.6268 of 2025, 2/5
in which objections have been raised. Respondents 5, 6, and 7 have filed an undertaking affidavit, handed over the key, and assured not to disturb the peaceful possession of the petitioner.
4. In view of the same, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl. Side) submitted that, considering the composite nature of the case and the professional capacity of one of the parties as an Advocate, the respondents attempted to take undue advantage.
5. In view of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.2517 of 2024, appropriate action has been taken by the respondent police. The case has been registered, investigation completed, and further steps are in progress.
6. He further submitted that appropriate police protection would be provided to the writ petitioner for peaceful enjoyment of the property and for safeguarding his person.
7. Recording the above submissions, this Contempt Petition is closed. 22.08.2025 nvi 3/5
