This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to directing the 1st and 2nd respondent to provide necessary police protection to revenue officials while survey the petitioner's house site, bearing survey No. 222/1B, for an extend of 166 Sq. Meter, situated in Asakalathur Village, Kallakurichi Taluk, Kallakurichi District in accordance with law.

2.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that, based on the complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in C.No.537/2023 on the file of the respondent Police. 3.The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the Police for enquiry and the respondent Police shall conduct the enquiry keeping in mind the judgment in 2/4

Lalitha Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh reported in 2013 (6) CTC 353. On completion of the enquiry, the respondent Police shall take a decision regarding the further course of action.
