By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner claims that he is the President of the Kollumadu Panchayat Union and in pursuant to the direction of the District Collector, Cuddalore District, he has taken sincere and earnest efforts in collecting the tax due and payable by the residents of his local municipality and when the Surveyor went to the 4th respondent / School, he was refused entry. The petitioner would further state that the 4th respondent did not pay the statutory levies due and payable for the past four years and in this regard, he has also submitted a representation dated 17.06.2016 to the respondents https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

1 to 3 and since no orders have been passed, he came forward to file the present writ petition.

Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner ; Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate [Education] who accepts notice on behalf of the 1st respondent ; and Mr.V.S.Ramesh, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 2 and 3. Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 17.06.2016 in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the 4th respondent and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner, as well as to the 4th respondent herein. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
