ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents herein to withdraw the case in Crime No.787/2008 pending on the file of the second respondent herein and transfer the same to any other competent officer to conduct further investigation and file final report in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents and carefully perused the materials available on record.

3. Pursuant to the earlier order passed on 10.08.2023 and on 31.08.2023, the matter was posted under the caption "for reporting compliance today.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation has been completed and a final report has been filed before 2/5

the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambattur and the same is yet to be taken on file.

5. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambattur to act upon the final report filed by the respondent police on 14.09.2023 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
