ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The Writ Petition has been instituted, directing the respondents to grant ordinary leave for 30 days without escort to the detenue, Anand S/o.Ganesan aged about 32 years bearing Convict No.7822 confined at Central Prison, Puzhal.

2.The report of the Probation Officer regarding grant of parole leave of the convict prisoner reveals that, there is a possibility of law and order situation in the locality. Further, the reasons stated in the leave application was found to be false. Smt.Sugana, the step mother of the convict prisoner stated before the probation officer that she is not suffering from skin decease and it was cured after taking treatment.

3.Since the reasons stated in the leave application are found to be false by the Probation Officer and the Jurisdictional Inspector of police also submitted a report that there is a likelihood of law and order issue, in the event of the release of the convict prisoner, we are not inclined to consider the Ordinary leave petition.
