Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of prohibition, prohibiting the respondents permanently from cutting the 100 year old Peepal Tree and also removal of Ganesh Idol under it.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) At the outset, learned counsel for respondent Nos.1 and 3 submitted that, though initially it was proposed, now felling of tree or removal of Ganesh Idol is not being done and an alternative arrangement has already been made and no further construction,

except removal of tin sheet, is taking place. In support his submission, a communication dated 9.7.2025 along with photographs has been placed on record.

2. In view of the above statement, no further orders need to be passed in this petition and the petition is disposed of as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, interim application stands closed.
