The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 11.06.2025 in Crime No.95 of 2025 for the offences under Section 194(3) @ 85 & 108 of BNS on the file of the respondent police seeks bail. 1/4

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner in a drunken mood snatched the specs of the defacto complainant's wife and abused her in filthy language in a public, frustrated over the same, deceased had committed suicide by consuming poison.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, due to dispute within her family members, due to which, she committed suicide however, a false case has been projected against the petitioner as though petitioner is the reason for the deceased committing suicide. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) strongly opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner stating that the petitioner in a drunken mood picked up a quarrel with the public and at that time, he had snatched the specs of the defacto complainant and also accosted her in public and abused her in filthy language, due to which, she got frustrated and committed suicide. 2/4

5. Considering the fact that the petitioner is the reason for the deceased committing suicide and also considering the fact that, if the petitioner comes out on bail, there is a possibility of witnesses, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
